Hello Comrade Land! Miro is back again with interview. Thanks to your reply on Twitter, Barry say to me today "Do another interview, big hit with fans." Naturally, I'm excite, so let's go. I just complete my talk with offensive lightning strike Pat King on Skype. Thanks to all who gave me good question for interview. Anyways, here is transcript. Enjoy!
Question 1: You play normal with Mark Hendricks. Tell me how it feel to be on best line?
King: Well actually we were just split up last game to try and spread out some of the scoring, but it's fun. I think we read each other well. It's not like it's the best line really, I think any of our forwards can score, and our defensemen too, but yeah it is fun.
Question 2: You say defenseman can score? Why no hat trick for Jamie Simek?
King: Hahaha he told me about that. You shouldn't be so hard on him. He plays defense.
Question 3: You have one of hardest slap shots on team. With Ryan Odell hurt now, you fastest?
King: Hmmm, maybe. I hadn't thought of that. Tony doesn't have a shot. Steve and Jamie have hard ones, but I don't think they're as hard as mine. Mark's is coming along, but he'll never take a slap shot. Jason and Pete can both rip them, but I'm not sure. I think Aaron has a good one, but I haven't really seen it yet. I guess Mike might be the one I'd have to be worried about. But he's five feet tall, so he probably can't get as much behind it. I may have the hardest shot. Hmm, now I really want to get clocked.
Question 4: Who your least favorite team?
King: Haha I could get in trouble for answering this one. I guess the safe answer would be Prestige Worldwide, since they beat us in the championship last season and we have a history with them.
Question 5: The Prestige Worldwide captain, Scott Smith? Diver?
King: Hahaha I could DEFINITELY get in trouble for this. I'll just say he plays with an edge... and he can't stay on his. See what I did there?
Question 6: Da. You have breakaway. Where you shoot?
King: One fake, then top shelf. Always top shelf.
Question 7: In Russia, we have expression: If you shoot moon, you no need cows to milk for stars.
King:: I... I don't even know how to respond. Is that like "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll still land among the stars"?
Question 8: Hahahaha :)))))))) no, very different. In Russia, that expression mean "Kill the moon, molest the stars."
King: Wow.
Question 9: What you think this season end?
King: How do I think this season will end? Well we're 4-0 right now and off to a good start. We'll have to keep getting better. Hopefully we can win a few games in the playoffs.
Question 10: You coach, there shootout. Three shooters you pick?
King: The obvious answers would be me, Mike, and Mark, but Mark sucks on breakaways. Mike isn't too bad, but he can be off sometimes. Obviously I'd pick myself. I think Pete has a few moves, so does Aaron. I'd probably go Me, Mike, and Aaron or Pete. Pete. No, ahhh, Aaron. Mark would shoot last. After Durkin..
